I started Big Buckle Roofing to give homeowners in the communities I grew up in a roofer with a local address who would show up for a repair, not just a replacement. Today, that same commitment reaches from East Valley neighborhoods to the small towns and mountain communities we call home.

How can I tell if my roof needs repairs or a replacement?
Missing, cracked, or curling shingles, leaks inside, granules in the gutters, or visible sagging all mean it's time to look. Book a free inspection and we'll recommend repair or replacement based on the damage, the age of the roof, and what your elevation does to it.
What should I do if my roof is damaged in a monsoon or windstorm?
Stay off the roof. Photograph damage from the ground, tarp what you safely can, and call your insurance company to report it. Then call us. We'll document the damage properly and walk you through the options.
How does Big Buckle handle insurance claims?
We inspect and document everything with photos, then meet your adjuster on the roof so nothing gets missed. We don't act as a public adjuster or negotiate your policy, and we never play games with your deductible.
Do you serve city neighborhoods as well as rural communities?
Yes. Our service area includes Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Queen Creek, and Apache Junction, along with the Gila Valley, Rim Country, and the White Mountains. We provide in-person inspections for repairs and replacements. Check our service-area list or send us your address to confirm scheduling.
What makes Big Buckle different from other roofers?
Our office is in Thatcher, and every job starts with a real inspection and a written scope. We bring the same straightforward advice and follow-through to neighborhood homes, small-town properties, and mountain cabins. We are licensed, insured, and manufacturer certified.
Shingle or metal for my elevation?
In the valley both work; metal wins on heat and lifespan, shingle on price. Under pines and above the Rim, metal sheds snow and needles and is what we'd put on our own house. We show you both numbers.
What are the risks of hiring an unlicensed contractor?
Subpar work, no enforceable warranty, liability if someone is hurt on your property, and the storm-chaser risk of a company that isn't in Arizona next year. Always verify the ROC license and insurance. Ours is in the footer.
How long does a roof installation take?
Most homes take one to three days depending on size, pitch, material, and weather. Steep Rim Country roofs and metal systems run toward the longer end. We never leave a deck open overnight.
